Corn Fields produce corn, which is eaten both by people and pigs, and is used by the Sheriff to breed livestock.
The corn field works on a 7 day cycle:
Day 1 : Plough and Sow your field (work is strength related)
Day 2 : Growing (nothing needs doing)
Day 3 : Growing (nothing needs doing)
Day 4 : Growing (nothing needs doing)
Day 5 : Growing (nothing needs doing)
Day 6 : Growing (nothing needs doing)
Day 7 : Harvest your Field (work is strength related)
When you plough and sow the field on day two, remember to place a bag of corn in your property inventory. If you don't, the worker will get paid but your field won't be sown.
If you employ your workers at 0 stats, you will normally get 19 corn bags.
If you employ your workers at 20 stats, you will normally get 22 corn bags.
Assuming that you sell your corn for 3.60 pounds then the maths works out like this.
0 stats : (18x3.60)-(16x2)=32.8 pounds profit.
20 stats : (21x3.60)-(20x2)=35.60 pounds profit.
This gives an average of 5 pounds per day.
If this is your second field, there is a 25% penalty on the
This averages out at 4 - 6 pounds per day.
If this is your second field, there is a -25% penalty imposed on your yield. So the numbers for a second field look like this:
If you employ your workers at 0 stats, you will normally get 14 wheat bags.
If you employ your workers at 20 stats, you will normally get 17 wheat bags.
0 stats : (14x3.60)-(16x2)=18.40 pounds profit.
20 stats : (17x3.60)-(20x2)=21.20 pounds profit.
Which averages out at approximately 3 pounds per day.
Note: The numbers for the second field yields may not be entirely accurate; I had no source to work from and I was pretty tired when I calculated them
Note: You can sow both corn fields with 1 bag of corn if they are synchronized(days in the cycle match up)
